Certified bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for women and men, built on thorough lab work, individualized dosing, and ongoing monitoring.

Hormone Therapy at Mayfield Medical Clinic

About the speciality

Hot flashes and night sweats. Sleep that no longer restores you. Brain fog, low mood, weight that will not shift, a libido that has quietly disappeared. These symptoms are common, they are treatable, and they are not something you have to accept as a normal part of getting older.

Our hormone therapy program is led by Dr. Fadwa El Said, our Medical Director, who holds a Masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is certified in Advanced Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy through Worldlink Medical. She provides hormone optimization for both women and men, drawing on more than two decades of experience in women's health.

Care begins with a full consultation and baseline blood work, so treatment is guided by your symptoms and your labs rather than guesswork. Where hormone therapy is appropriate, we prioritize Health Canada approved body-identical hormones such as estradiol and micronized progesterone, prescribed at the lowest effective dose and reviewed regularly.

Hormone therapy is not right for everyone, and the balance of benefit and risk depends on your age, your health history, and how long it has been since menopause. We will walk you through that decision together, in plain language, and revisit it as your needs change.
